Two-factor authentication adds a second step when you sign in, so nobody can access your account and earnings with your password alone. We strongly recommend turning it on.
Methods
- Authenticator app (recommended), such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or Authy. You set it up by scanning a QR code.
- Email code: a code sent to your email address, valid for 10 minutes.
Turning on 2FA
- Go to Settings → Security.
- Choose Two-factor authentication and pick a method.
- For an authenticator app, scan the QR code with the app and enter the 6-digit code it shows to confirm.
From then on, you enter a code after your password each time you sign in.
Check your login history
Settings → Security also shows a log of recent logins. If you see a login you do not recognise, change your password immediately and contact support.
Lost your authenticator device?
Open a support ticket under Account from another signed-in device, or email support@distrovibe.com from your account email address. We will verify your identity before resetting 2FA.
