The DistroVibe Pitch Portal connects upcoming releases directly with editorial curation teams and promotional partner channels across global digital service providers (DSPs), including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, TIDAL, Amazon Music, Deezer, TikTok, and Boomplay.
Submissions are evaluated for:
-
Editorial Playlist Placements: Official store-curated flags across mood, genre, and flagship discovery lists.
-
Partner Features & Hubs: Highlighting on banner placements, algorithmic recommendation feeds, and localized spotlight shelves.
-
DSP Marketing Windows: Eligibility for platform-driven promotional campaigns, social features, and promotional credit programs.
Submission Guidelines & Criteria
To qualify for DSP editorial reviews, submissions must adhere strictly to platform lead times:
-
Exclusive to Unreleased Tracks: You may only pitch releases distributed through DistroVibe that are strictly unreleased with a scheduled future release date.
-
Submission Lead Time: The release must be submitted and fully approved in your DistroVibe dashboard at least 3 to 4 weeks prior to the scheduled release date. Submissions under this threshold cannot be processed, as DSP editorial desks freeze consideration windows 14 days ahead of release.
-
One Priority Track Per Release: For multi-track projects (EPs and Albums), you may nominate one focus track per release. Only one pitching submission is permitted per release catalog.
-
Independent Selection: Submitting a pitch does not guarantee an editorial placement. Final additions are curated solely at the independent discretion of platform editors and algorithm triggers.
What Editorial Review Teams Prioritize
Platform editorial desks and DistroVibe curators evaluate incoming submissions through a focused quality filter:
-
Commercial Production Fidelity: Releases must feature clear, industry-grade mixing and mastering suitable for continuous listening alongside major catalog entries.
-
Sonic Identity & Vocal Character: Distinct vocal phrasing, unique melodic hooks, inventive sound design, or standout acoustic instrumentation.
-
Arrangement & Pacing: Cohesive structural progression that fits the intended mood, genre landscape, or platform discovery format (e.g., immediate hooks suitable for radio and playlist retention).
-
Targeting & Narrative: Clear contextual detail regarding the project’s inspiration, upcoming promotional campaigns, and target demographic.
All genres and territories are welcome. Curation decisions are determined entirely by the music’s creative merit and algorithmic potential never by an artist’s tier, follower count, or account subscription level.
