DistroVibe fully supports the distribution of instrumental, beat, drone, and ambient projects across all 450+ global streaming platforms and download stores.

How to Configure Instrumental Metadata in the Uploader

To ensure your tracks are indexed properly by DSP algorithms and lyric engines:

  1. Set Language to Instrumental: In the Language dropdown, select No Lyrics / Instrumental.

  2. Apply Across Levels: Ensure this selection is applied at both the Release Information level and for each individual track under the Track Details screen.

  3. Leave Lyric Fields Blank: Do not enter placeholder text (e.g., "Instrumental" or "None") in the lyric submission boxes or .LRC sync tools.

Important Guidelines for Ambient & Instrumental Releases

  • Sample Clearances: If your instrumental incorporates third-party audio loops, movie dialogue, field recordings of protected broadcasts, or vintage samples, you must hold commercial clearance. Attach licensing proof in the uploader or submit it via a Needs Documentation ticket to support@distrovibe.com.

  • Content ID & Background Loops: Ambient tracks consisting exclusively of standard, unaltered royalty-free loops, binaural beats, white noise/nature sounds, or non-exclusive instrumentals cannot be enrolled in YouTube Content ID or Meta Rights Manager to prevent automated claim conflicts.
