"Apple Music Sing: Syllable-by-Syllable Synced Lyrics Integration"

Apple Music Sing allows subscribers to sing along to their favorite tracks with adjustable vocal levels and real-time, animated lyrics. Powered by Apple's vocal separation technology, the feature lowers or raises the lead vocal while displaying synchronized lyrics inside the Apple Music player.

How the Feature Works

When an eligible track plays on a supported Apple device (such as iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV 4K), listeners see a microphone icon on the lyrics screen. Tapping the icon presents a volume slider that lowers or raises the lead vocal while keeping the instrumental mix.

What Apple Music Sing Depends On

Apple Music does not enable Sing for plain-text lyrics. In general:

• Time-Synced Lyrics: The song needs time-synced lyrics available on Apple Music. Plain, unsynced lyrics are not enough.

• A Clear Lead Vocal: The feature is built around separating a lead vocal, so instrumental recordings and spoken-word tracks are generally not suitable.

• Matching Metadata: The lyrics must be matched to the right track (ISRC and title) on Apple Music.

Whether Sing is switched on for a specific track is decided by Apple. DistroVibe cannot enable it or guarantee it.

How to Get Time-Synced Lyrics via DistroVibe

DistroVibe offers time-synced lyrics through the Musixmatch add-on:

1. Make sure your release is live and the track has an ISRC.

2. In your DistroVibe Dashboard, open Add-ons and choose Musixmatch.

3. Select the track and place your order. The add-on costs $1.99 per track, paid from your wallet balance.

4. Our team reviews the lyrics and submits them for time-synced delivery. Processing typically takes 24 to 72 hours; you can follow the status under My Requests.

Once synced lyrics are live on Apple Music, any Apple Music Sing activation for the track is up to Apple, and timing varies.
