A Spotify Countdown Page is a pre-release page hosted within Spotify. It lets fans pre-save your upcoming release, preview the tracklist, watch short vertical Clips, see merchandise, and follow a countdown to release day.

Platform Eligibility

• Format: Countdown Pages have mainly been available for upcoming albums and EPs, with some availability for singles.

• Audience and Profile: You need access to your artist profile in Spotify for Artists. Spotify may also apply audience requirements.

• Delivery Lead Time: The release must reach Spotify well before the release date. Schedule your release date several weeks ahead in DistroVibe so there is time to build your page.

How to Create Your Countdown Page

1. Make sure your release has been submitted and approved in your DistroVibe Dashboard with a scheduled future release date.

2. Once your release shows Delivered to stores, allow some time for Spotify to process it before it appears in Spotify for Artists.

3. Log in to Spotify for Artists.

4. Navigate to Music, then click the Upcoming tab.

5. Select the release and follow Spotify's prompts to set up the Countdown Page.

6. Add short vertical Spotify Clips to give fans creative context or teasers.

7. Add merchandise from a connected store, if you have one.

8. Preview your page and publish it.

• Share Your Countdown Page Link: Send traffic from your social bios (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and DistroVibe Fan Broadcast emails (for example with the Pre-Save Campaign template) straight to your Countdown Page URL.
