Does DistroVibe Distribute AI Music?

DistroVibe accepts releases created with the help of AI, as long as you have the rights to the content and the release meets our quality and intellectual property rules.

Eligibility guidelines

• Originality and non-infringement: AI-assisted or AI-generated tracks must be original works. Content that imitates copyrighted artists, uses someone's voice without legal authorization, or copies existing recordings will be rejected.
• Quality review: Every release is reviewed before it is sent to stores. Low-quality, spam-like or repetitive audio that does not meet store standards will be declined.

Store policies

• Store decisions: We deliver approved AI releases to stores, but each store (for example Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube) has its own policies on AI content. DistroVibe cannot override a store's moderation decisions.
• Content ID and Meta Rights Manager: Releases that contain AI-assisted or AI-generated audio are not eligible for YouTube Content ID or Meta Rights Manager.

Submitting an AI release

1. Declare AI content: In the Basic Info step of the release wizard, turn on AI-Generated Content.
2. Upload documentation: Upload proof that you have the right to use the AI-generated content (PDF, JPG or PNG), for example the AI service's licence terms or your subscription details. This document is required for AI releases.
3. Credit accurately: Enter accurate songwriter and composer credits with full legal names in the Track Details step.

If our team needs more proof, the release status changes to Needs Docs and you can upload documents in the release's Documents tab.
