Setting up tracking pixels on your SmartLink

Updated August 10, 2026

Why you'd use this

If you're running paid ad campaigns (Instagram/Facebook ads, Google Ads, TikTok ads) that drive traffic to a SmartLink, you need a way to measure whether those ads are actually converting into clicks and store visits — that's what these pixels are for. Without a pixel attached, your ad platform's dashboard has no visibility into what happened after someone left the ad and landed on your SmartLink.

Supported pixels

  • Meta Pixel — tracks visits and clicks for Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns, feeding back into Meta Ads Manager for conversion reporting and retargeting audiences.
  • Google Tag — connects to Google Ads and Google Analytics for campaigns run through Google's ad platform.
  • TikTok Pixel — tracks conversions for TikTok ad campaigns specifically.

Setting it up

  1. Get your pixel ID from the relevant ad platform (Meta Events Manager, Google Ads/Analytics, or TikTok Ads Manager) — this is a setup step on their side, not something DistroVibe generates for you.
  2. Open the SmartLink's settings in your dashboard and go to the Tracking section.
  3. Paste in the pixel ID(s) for whichever platforms you're advertising on. You can add more than one at a time if you're running campaigns across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  4. Save — the pixel fires automatically on every future visit and click on that SmartLink.

What you'll see on your end

Pixel data doesn't show up inside DistroVibe itself — it flows directly into each ad platform's own reporting (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager), which is where you'll review conversion performance and build retargeting audiences from SmartLink visitors.
