Changing or upgrading your plan

Updated July 18, 2026

Where to change plans

Go to Settings → Billing to see your current plan and the option to switch.

Upgrading

Upgrading (e.g. Artist → Artist Pro, or Artist Pro → Label) takes effect immediately. As soon as the upgrade is confirmed, you get access to the new tier's features right away — unlimited artist profiles, YouTube Content ID, advanced analytics, priority support, or whatever the specific tier unlocks. You're typically charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle at the new rate, then billed the full new-plan price going forward.

Downgrading

Downgrading takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, not immediately — you keep your current (higher) tier's features until the period you already paid for finishes, and the downgrade applies from the next renewal onward. This means downgrading doesn't cut off access to features you've already paid for in the current cycle.

Switching monthly vs. yearly billing

You can switch between monthly and yearly billing from the same Billing screen. Yearly billing locks in your rate for the full 12-month period at a discount compared to paying monthly — useful if you're confident you'll stay subscribed for the year and want to avoid any future price changes affecting you mid-year.

Does your release history carry over?

Yes — plan changes (up or down) never affect your existing release catalog, its live status on stores, or your accumulated royalty history. Plan changes only affect which tools and support level you have access to going forward.
