DistroVibe delivers to 450+ stores and services — every major streaming platform, regional services across Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, download stores, and social platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Default: everything selected
By default, every store is selected for every new release. For the large majority of artists this is the right call: there's no extra cost for broader distribution, and you genuinely can't predict in advance which regional or niche platform might end up driving meaningful listens for a given track. Deselecting stores "just in case" usually costs you potential reach for no real benefit.
When to exclude specific stores
There are a few legitimate reasons to exclude stores:
- An existing exclusive deal or licensing agreement that restricts where a particular release can appear.
- A regional restriction tied to a sync deal, brand partnership, or legal requirement.
- You're deliberately testing a release on a narrower set of platforms first.
How to manage store selection
During upload, open Manage Stores in the release scheduling step. You'll see a search bar and the full catalog grouped into "Featured stores" (the major platforms) and the complete alphabetical list. Deselect anything you want to exclude — the summary at the top always shows your current count, e.g. "448 of 450 stores selected," so you can confirm exactly what you're excluding before submitting.
Changing your selection after submission
Once a release has started delivering, its store list is locked for that delivery cycle — stores that have already received the release can't be un-delivered by changing a setting after the fact. If you need to add or remove a store after submission, contact support; depending on the release's exact status, this may require a takedown-and-redeliver, which temporarily removes the release from stores that already received it.
