Who goes through onboarding
Standard subscribers (Artist, Artist Pro, Label) generally get dashboard access as soon as they sign up and complete their subscriber contract — there isn't a separate multi-step onboarding gate for them. A structured onboarding flow specifically applies to artists who've been approved into the Artist Partner Program (100K+ monthly listeners, reviewed by A&R).
Why Partner onboarding is different
Partner Program artists go through a more involved setup, since the relationship includes things a standard subscription doesn't — dedicated account representative assignment, catalog review, and contract terms specific to the partnership. Onboarding makes sure this is set up correctly before you start releasing under the program.
What the onboarding steps generally cover
Onboarding progress is tracked step by step, and you're guided through wherever you left off if you log back in partway through — you don't need to restart. Steps generally include profile/catalog confirmation and moving on to your Artist Distribution Contract once initial setup is complete.

If onboarding seems stuck or you're unsure what step you're on, open a support ticket — since Partner accounts have a dedicated account representative, this is often the fastest way to get a direct answer rather than guessing at the UI.
