Where to check your status
After submitting an application to the Artist Partner Program (see "How do I apply?" in the Artist Partner Program category), your application status is visible from your dashboard.
PENDING
Your application has been submitted and is waiting for review by our A&R team. This isn't an automated process — a real person is evaluating your catalog and streaming performance, which is why this stage can take some time. There's no fixed turnaround guarantee; review depends on volume of applications and how much evaluation your specific catalog needs.
APPROVED
Your application has been accepted into the Artist Partner Program. You'll be guided into the onboarding flow next (see "The onboarding process explained"), followed by signing your Artist Distribution Contract, after which you get full Partner Program benefits.
REJECTED
Your application wasn't accepted at this time. This most commonly means your catalog didn't yet meet the program's bar at the time of review — it does not mean you can't distribute your music. You can continue releasing (or start releasing) on a standard Artist, Artist Pro, or Label subscription with 100% royalties immediately, and re-apply to the Partner Program later once your streaming numbers have grown. A rejection is not permanent or a mark against your account in any way.
What a rejection doesn't affect
Your ability to use DistroVibe as a standard subscriber is completely unaffected by an Artist Partner Program rejection — these are two entirely separate systems (see "What is the Artist Partner Program?" for the full explanation of how the two relate).
