## Resetting a forgotten password

1. On the **Login** page, choose **Forgot password**.
2. Enter your account email address.
3. We email you a **6-digit code**. It is valid for **15 minutes**.
4. Enter the code and choose a new password.

For security, the number of reset requests is limited. If you hit the limit, wait a few minutes and try again.

## Changing your password while signed in

Go to **Settings → Security → Change password**.

## Signed up with Google?

If you created your account with **Google**, sign in with the **Continue with Google** button. Your password is managed by Google, not by DistroVibe.

## Locked out after several attempts

After several failed login attempts, logins are paused for a short time to protect your account. Wait 15 minutes, then try again or reset your password.
