After you submit a release through DistroVibe, it may take some time for our team to review the release and prepare it for delivery.

Once your release has been approved and delivered, each streaming service and digital store processes the release independently.

Because every platform has its own ingestion, moderation, and processing systems, your release may become available on some services earlier than others.

To help ensure your release is available everywhere on time, we recommend choosing a release date at least **2–4 weeks in advance**.

This gives you additional time to:

* Complete any required corrections

* Resolve copyright or metadata issues

* Allow stores enough time to process the release

* Submit your music for editorial consideration where available

* Prepare your marketing and promotional campaigns

* Create pre-save and release promotion campaigns

## Fast Lane

If **Fast Lane** is enabled for your release, DistroVibe prioritizes the release and sends it to supported digital platforms as quickly as possible after it has successfully passed review.

Fast Lane helps reduce the time between approval and delivery from DistroVibe.

However, Fast Lane does **not** control or guarantee how quickly a streaming service or digital store will process the release after receiving it.

The processing times listed below are estimated **DSP ingestion times**. Even when DistroVibe delivers a Fast Lane release as quickly as possible, the platform will still need to ingest, review, process, and publish the content through its own systems.

In most cases, releases are processed within the estimated timeframes below, but actual processing times may vary by service.

## Estimated Ingestion Times by Store or Service

| Service                  | Estimated Processing Time |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------- |
| **Spotify**              | 24–48 hours               |
| **Apple Music / iTunes** | 24–72 hours               |
| **TIDAL**                | 1–3 business days         |
| **Amazon Music**         | 3–7 business days         |
| **Deezer**               | 3–5 business days         |
| **Pandora**              | 3–7 business days         |
| **YouTube Music**        | 3–7 business days         |
| **YouTube Content ID**   | 2–5 business days         |

These timeframes refer to the platform's processing period **after successful delivery**.

They are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Platforms may occasionally require additional time due to:

* Internal moderation

* Metadata review

* Copyright verification

* High submission volume

* Artist profile matching

* Regional processing differences

* Platform-specific technical delays

## Important

A release showing as **Delivered** in DistroVibe does not necessarily mean it is already publicly available.

Delivered means that DistroVibe has successfully sent your release to the selected platforms.

The platform must still ingest and process the content before it becomes publicly available.

This also applies to **Fast Lane** releases.

Fast Lane allows DistroVibe to prioritize and send your release as quickly as possible, but once the release has been delivered, the remaining processing time is controlled by the individual DSP.

Your release will generally move to **Live** once it becomes available on at least one selected service.

However, even after a release is marked as Live, some stores may still be processing it.

## Claiming Your Artist Profile

For most services, you will need to wait until your first release becomes publicly available before you can claim or access your artist profile.

Spotify may allow artist profile access before the first release date once the release has been successfully ingested into Spotify's system.

If you need assistance locating or verifying your artist profile, please contact DistroVibe Support through your account.

## YouTube Content ID

If your release is eligible and approved for **YouTube Content ID**, Content ID processing generally begins after the release has been delivered to YouTube.

Claims may begin appearing within approximately **2–5 business days**, but this can vary.

YouTube uses automated systems and additional review processes to identify eligible matches.

Because of this, some videos may receive Content ID claims later than others.

Delivery to YouTube Content ID also does not guarantee that every use of your music will be detected or claimed immediately.

## Recommended Release Lead Time

Even when using Fast Lane, we recommend submitting important releases **at least 2–4 weeks before your planned release date** whenever possible.

Fast Lane is designed to reduce DistroVibe's delivery time, but it cannot bypass or accelerate the internal ingestion and moderation systems of third-party platforms.

Submitting early remains the best way to give stores enough time to process your release and to avoid unnecessary release-day issues.
