**YouTube Music** is YouTube’s dedicated digital streaming service, operating alongside major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music to stream music across more than 100 global territories.

When you select YouTube Music in DistroVibe, your music is delivered directly to both the **YouTube Music application** and standard **YouTube** as official, automated Art Tracks.

### How Art Tracks Work

An **Art Track** is an automatically generated YouTube video that pairs your high-resolution release artwork with your official master audio recording.

* **Unified Ecosystem:** YouTube Music and YouTube standard share the same underlying catalog database. Distributing to YouTube Music delivers both your streaming release and its matching YouTube Art Track automatically.

* **Label Attribution ("Provided to YouTube by..."):**

  * By default, Art Track descriptions state: `Provided to YouTube by DistroVibe`.

  * **Custom Label Branding:** Displaying your custom imprint name (e.g., `Provided to YouTube by [Your Label Name]`) is an exclusive enterprise feature reserved for active **Label Plan** subscribers. Users on standard plans will display DistroVibe distribution attribution.

* **Monetization & Royalties:** Every play on YouTube Music and every view on the automated Art Track generates recording royalties. All generated revenue flows straight into your DistroVibe Balance with 0% hidden withholding.

### YouTube Music vs. YouTube Content ID

These two services serve completely distinct functions across the YouTube ecosystem:

* **YouTube Music (Streaming & Art Tracks):** An official streaming storefront. It delivers your releases for playback on the YouTube Music app and publishes Art Tracks to YouTube Topic channels.

* **YouTube Content ID (Copyright Fingerprinting):** An automated copyright enforcement system. It scans third-party user-generated videos (UGC) across all of YouTube to detect, claim, and monetize unauthorized uses of your sound recordings.

* **YouTube Shorts Library:** If you want your audio indexed in the global sound picker for YouTube Shorts, the track must be successfully delivered through Content ID monetization workflows.

### Claiming Your YouTube Music Presence: Official Artist Channels (OAC)

You cannot "claim" an auto-generated Topic channel directly with a login password. Instead, you merge it into your personal channel to establish a single **Official Artist Channel (OAC)**:

1. Maintain an active, personal YouTube channel representing your artist identity.

2. Distribute at least **1 to 3 official releases** to YouTube Music via DistroVibe so that your automated Topic channel is generated.

3. Submit your personal YouTube channel URL and your YouTube Music Topic channel link to our team via **Support** > **Metadata & Profile Mapping**.

4. DistroVibe will submit the official OAC merger directly to YouTube, awarding your channel the music note verification badge (🎵) and unifying your subscribers, Art Tracks, and official videos under one hub.

### Incorrect Channel Mapping & Separation

If your Art Track was mistakenly assigned to another creator's YouTube Topic channel, or if an external artist's song appeared on yours, submit a channel separation ticket:

1. Go to your **DistroVibe Dashboard** and open **Support**.

2. Select **Metadata & Profile Mapping**.

3. Choose **YouTube Topic Channel Separation**.

4. Provide the release **UPC**, track **ISRC**, the **Art Track link**, and the **URL of the incorrect Topic channel**.

5. Our distribution operations team will feed a direct metadata correction override to YouTube to route the Art Track to its rightful location within 2 to 5 business days.
