Spotify for Artists provides the core management interface to customize your public presence, analyze real-time streaming metrics, submit upcoming tracks for official editorial playlist consideration, and pin tour dates or official merchandise directly to your artist profile.

**Eligibility & Prerequisites**

* **Pre-Release Claiming:** Spotify permits creators to claim their artist profile prior to street date. To do this, your debut release must be successfully uploaded, quality-approved, and delivered to Spotify’s servers by DistroVibe.

* **Retrieving Your Spotify URI:** Once your release is ingested, Spotify mints a unique identifier known as a Spotify URI (`spotify:artist:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX`). Because the page is not yet public in standard app search, you must use this URI to claim ownership.

**How to Claim Your Profile Directly on Spotify**

1. Ensure your upcoming release shows as delivered/approved in your DistroVibe dashboard.

2. Open a ticket via **DistroVibe Support** selecting **Metadata & Profile Mapping**, and request the **Spotify Artist URI** for your upcoming debut release.

3. Once our operations team provides your URI, navigate directly to [artists.spotify.com/claim](https://artists.spotify.com/claim).

4. Log in with your standard personal Spotify account credentials.

5. In the search bar on Spotify's claim portal, paste your complete **Spotify Artist URI**.

6. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm identity verification (such as connecting official social media channels).

Once submitted, Spotify's automated verification systems typically grant access within 2 to 5 business days.
